All UF College of Medicine students live off-campus, with many residing within walking distance and most within biking distance of campus. Additionally, with free transportation via Gainesville’s RTS bus system, getting to and from campus and Shands couldn’t be easier! Gainesville Housing Overview
This spring, we polled the Class of 2028 and 2029 about where they live. We hope that the survey helps you find a place to call home during your time at UF COM. Also, please note that this information is based on student responses to our survey- all final information will come from the apartment complex/landlord.

Concerning utilities, Cox is the main cable/internet provider and GRU is the main electricity provider. DirecTV may also be an option for cable and internet services. Some apartments will already have internet and electricity set up for you.
