Dear Members of the Class of 2029:
One of the many requirements you have is to update your emergency contact information and complete UF’s registration acknowledgment. UF requires that you complete these tasks each semester and the University will put a hold on your record if you do not comply. Any type of hold will prevent me from registering you for classes and could result in a $100 late registration fee.
Therefore, please go into UF Student Self Service at your earliest convenience to update your emergency contact information and complete the registration acknowledgment. Here are the instructions:
EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
You will need your UFID number. If you do not have a record of it, you can find it on your secondary application under the “Personal Info” section. Don’t hesitate to call Admissions if you run into any issues with log-in or retrieving your UFID.
On the left side under “My Record” click on “Update Emergency Contact Info”
Update and submit (be sure you get a message that the submission was successful).
REGISTRATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Click on “Registration Prep” OR “HOLDS”
Check your personal Information and click “Continue”
Click the “Complete Registration Acknowledgment” link
Read each statement and check the “accept” box
Click “submit” at the bottom of the page
Once submitted, you will get the message you are approved to register
Problems? Contact the Office of the University Registrar by clicking on the “Contact Us” link at UF Student Self Service or call 352-392-1374
PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THESE REQUIREMENTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so that I can get all of you registered. Thanks, and WELCOME!
